Cans--tuna or cat food size
Cans--vegetable or soup size
Small plastic tubs from butter or cream cheese
uncrushed jell-o boxes
2 liter soda bottles
heavy cardstock--like gift box weight
empty thread spools

Earn a new recruiter patch from the Copperhead District!
Current Scouts and Scout Leaders,
Please advise your units that any registered Scouter can earn this patch below simply by registering a new Scout parent or youth into your unit at any time. This patch will be awarded to the Scouter once the application has been submitted and approved by SHAC.

Besides the prizes these boys earn by setting goals to attain them, they learn a valuable lesson in earning their own way through life. They are put in positions to speak to adults, look them in the eye and even learn how to deal with being told no. Many young people these days are given everything they ask for and rely on others to provide their wants and desires whereas these young men along with all our other Scouts who have sold a fundraiser learn life skills their peers struggle with daily.
Not to mention participating in these money earning projects also qualifies them for rank advancement, merit badges, belt loops and activity pins.
