University of Scouting:  Celebrating a Century

Please spread the news as quickly as possible that University of Scouting registration forms and course catalog are now available on the Sam Houston Area Council web site.  See also attached. Due to pending transition to a new council web site, online registration WILL NOT be available this year.  Participants and staff may register in 4 ways:

1) Print registration form and mail in with check or credit card info.
2) Print registration form and fax in with credit card info.
3) Print registration form and deliver to pay at the Cockrell Scout Center counter by cash, check, or credit card.
4) Save or scan the completed registration form and email in with credit card info.

Please promote at roundtable and any other events planned by your district this month.

Excellence in Training Award
Attached is a list of units who completed applications for the 2009 Excellence in Training Award; deadline was December 31.  For those with 100% trained leaders qualifying for plaques, contact Donna Burke prior to your district dinner.  The order is being placed this week and they should be ready by the middle of the month.
