2011 Nominating Committee
As per National BSA guidelines, 60 to 30 days prior to the District Annual Business meeting, the Nominating Committee is identified to the District. Nominations are received up until 2 weeks before the Annual Business meeting in writing. Positions for nominations are: 2012 Members-At-large, District Chairman and a Vice-Chairman as well as a recommendation for District Commissioner (this is a non-voted upon position). Tables can be reserved for a group of 10. Please collect all money and submit at one time. Please no children - this is an adult recognition event.
Be sure to nominate an outstanding adult leader from your unit for the Copperhead District CARES award - Copperhead Adult Recognition of Excellence in Scouting. Each unit may nominate one adult, and units with more than 50 scouts may nominate two adults. Please also consider nominating a special scouting family for the Family of the Year award. TROOP 421 needs BOY SCOUTSTroop 421 meets at Thornton Middle School on Tuesdays at 7pm. Thornton is at the corner of FRY Rd and Kieth Harrow. All Webelos or older Scouts that could not find a Troop in the FRY road area need to visit Troop 421. We are presently working on Second and First Class, have gone camping to summer camp, and are finishing several merit badges. Come visit us!!
